She studied sociology at Portland State and worked in social work for a few years before making a sharp change of direction and venturing into the mortgage industry. Her background in social work laid the foundation for her approach working with clients today. Educating & helping people to achieve home-ownership. She has two children that have grown into cool adults! When she’s not outdoors kayaking, hiking or biking, she might be home working on household projects or planning her next adventure. Mikki loves to travel and see the world.

Her great grandfather was one of the founding members of the NAACP in Portland, and her parents both worked at Boeing in Seattle before making their way south to settle in California. She enjoys hiking, remodeling and cooking with her family. She has two dogs who also love to “help” in the kitchen. As a retired probation officer of 25 years, she understands the stability accruing wealth can add to a family, and she is excited to join a team bringing home ownership to families who never thought they could own their own home.
